Hello! My name is Lenka. Me and my husband moved to Idaho in 2011 and have lived in Boise since 2017. We have three wonderful and very busy kids. You can find our family outdoors, either camping, biking, golfing or horseback riding.
My photography journey started as a kid. I always loved taking pictures of our family. As I am a perfectionist, I was looking for ways to improve. I started taking creative photography classes, then attended landscape photo workshops in Corsica, Italy and Switzerland. Hiking during the day and taking photos during sunset and sunrise was an experience I will never forget!
Having a full time job, I occasionally took pictures for my friends, especially weddings. When we moved to Pocatello I had more time and started doing family and portrait sessions. Later I got admitted to Idaho State University and while working on my MBA degree I started working for the Bengals Newspaper - first as a photographer and later as a photo editor. It was so fun working in photo journalism and meeting many wonderful people across the university. This is when I fell in love with sports photography, taking variety of sport photos for Idaho State Athletics as well.
Seeing the importance of photography in real estate, I started educating local agents and established a good relationship with some of them until moving to Boise. Having our first son and another one on the way, I decided to work mostly for bigger companies as a freelance photographer - Airbnb, Starr Photo and Video and GoDaddy. This gives me the freedom to enjoy taking pictures while the business aspect and editing is handled by someone else :)
As a professional photographer I know that not only skills and a good eyes is enough. So I always invest in a good quality cameras, lenses and lights. My main camera is mirrorless Canon 6R. I own several prime lenses with excellent picture quality as well.
I feel I am outgoing and overall fun person. My sessions are relaxing and natural though I am always flexible to adjust client's needs and mood.
